We Have Reorganized!

Friends’ new officers and directors are: Gail Wershing of Dingmans Ferry, PA, president; Jim Clark, Peters’ Valley executive director, vice president; Bill Irwin, treasurer; Lois Martin, assistant treasurer/secretary; Judith Lloyd, secretary; Jim Buckley, Suzie Dickerson, Esther Irwin , Phillip Karcher and Tom Shimalla, director of operations for the Pocono Environmental Education Council.
Honored for their work as former directors are board members emeritus: Russell Albert of Marshall’s Creek; Harry Buchanan and Davis Chant, both of Milford; Leonard Peck of Sparta; Roberta Rodimer of Newton; and Jen Wycalek of Walpack.
The not-for-profit organization was formed in the late 1990s. The Friends are dedicated to supporting the historic, scientific, educational, recreational and natural resource management activities in the park and to raising funds for special park projects.
